September 5, 2004 -- It's Labor Day weekend and we've been laboring! The 14 most recent "Our Back Yard" columns have materialized on the site.

August 31, 2004 -- Finally have a new message and photo up on the intro page. Hope to have some more "Our Back Yard" columns up soon!

May 31, 2004 -- Added the 13 most recent "Our Back Yard" columns.

February 26, 2004 -- Hoorah! Spring is on the way. The 12 latest "Our Back Yard" columns are up, along with a new greeting.

December 15, 2003 -- We have updated the message and photo on the intro page.

December 7, 2003 -- The wait is over! Twelve more "Our Back Yard" columns are now online. We also have added a listing of Delta events on the Events page. More changes coming...

September 21, 2003 -- Our second update in less than a day. We've added 17 images to the Almond Fest gallery, bringing this year's total to a whopping 101 pictures.

September 21, 2003 -- We've been busy beavers this week. Photos of the 2003 Oakley Almond Festival are online. This is just the first gallery, with a second one planned. So far 84 images and counting. We also have a new introductory message and photo on the home page.

September 15, 2003 -- The 10 most recent "Our Back Yard" columns are up. Also updated the "101 Things To Do" list. Just five days to go until the Almond Festival. We'll have loads of photos and a new greeting message by Monday.

August 25, 2003 -- Today we launch a new feature called "Sounds of Oakley." Check out Ron Borland's "Oakley Not Oakland" song, which is the first contribution. We also added a couple of new shots to the "Points of Interest" page. Less than four weeks until the Almond Festival...

July 7, 2003 -- Our summer greeting is up, along with the 10 most recent "Our Back Yard" columns.

April 26, 2003 -- The 12 most recent "Our Back Yard" columns have been added.

February 3, 2003 -- Caught up once again! We've uploaded the 14 most recent "Our Back Yard" columns and posted some tentative dates on the calendar of events page.

January 15, 2003 -- There's a new message on the intro page. (We're a little behind on updates, but with the holidays behind us we should be getting up some more "Our Back yard" columns and a few photos from our recent trail walks. Stay tuned...)

December 22, 2002 -- Merry Christmas! We added a couple of new items to the Oakley Trivia page.

October 28, 2002 -- We've added 13 recent "Our Back Yard" columns along with a new home page greeting and photo. (The image, by the way, is of the new Comfort Inn under construction on Bridgehead Road near the Highway 160 overpass.)

September 17, 2002 -- Photos from the 2002 Oakley Almond Festival have been uploaded to the Oakley Chamber of Commerce's Web site.

July 29, 2002 -- Our summer update includes 14 recent "Our Back Yard" columns, a new photo and greeting on the home page, and a new club listings section at the end of the events page.

April 22, 2002 -- Happy spring! We've added 16 "Our Back Yard" columns.

December 30, 2001 -- Wow! You probably thought we wouldn't get another update in before the end of the year, but we managed. Just barely. Among the changes: Oodles of recent "Our Back Yard" columns posted; updates to the Schools, Trivia and 101 Things pages; a new greeting on the home page; and a photo essay on the Big Break Marina. How's that for a New Year's present?

September 19, 2001 -- Photos from the 2001 Oakley Almond Festival are now online in the gallery section. We have changed the postcard on our intro page as well.

August 25, 2001 -- Six more "Our Back Yard" columns are now posted. At long last we also have a link to the library's Web site, along with a few other minor updates.

July 13, 2001 -- We have added the 10 most recent "Our Back Yard" columns.

May 5, 2001 -- We have added the six most recent "Our Back Yard" columns and placed a few more Marsh Creek Trail photos in the gallery section.

March 19, 2001 -- The eight most recent "Our Back Yard" columns have been posted. We also have added dates for Oakley's 2001 events.

March 5, 2001 -- The Points of Interest page has been updated and now includes descriptions of some of the local sights, along with a few thumbnail images. We also revised the message on our welcome page.

February 21, 2001 -- We added a series of photos from the Marsh Creek Trail and snow-covered Mount Diablo to the gallery section.

January 28, 2001 -- Phew! It's been awhile, but we're getting back in gear for 2001, starting with a posting of the 11 most recent "Our Back Yard" columns.

September 22, 2000 -- We continue to tinker with the format of the site. You should notice new, smaller page banners and a more uniform look. We have also split off the Our Back Yard columns into their own page and have provided links to all the photo archives from the Photo Gallery page. More changes in the works....
