Oakley Almond Festival 2000 / ReformersThe November 2000 election will be remembered by Oakley as the year the battle was joined over water and sewer rates. And only in a small town are you likely to find the candidates for your town water and sanitary boards marching in a parade with dance clubs and the YMCA.
