Season update: Sean leads by 2

Much as the political polls have been doing the past several weeks, the Gehlke Bros. competition has been wavering about a game a week, with the Bros. in a virtual dead heat going into the second half of the season. Unfortunately, the "margin of error" seems to be the Washington Redskins' ability to win games when they count, or lose them when they're supposed to. For the sixth time this season the Bros. split on a pick involving Washington, with the 'Skins (and Glenn) coming up short after a last-second hail-mary pass failed and the Titans preserved a victory in the nation's capital. The loss spoiled what would have been the first sweep of the year for either Bro, after Glenn managed to win two other splits with Tampa bay over formerly unbeated Minnesota and the Steelers' squeaker over the Ravens. Still, Glenn managed to gain a game on Sean in the season standings.

Glenn won the week with an 11-3 record, while Sean finished with a 10-4 mark. Meanwhile, Benji finished at 6-8. We all correctly predicted the wins of Indianapolis, Miami, Kansas City, the New York Giants and the mighty Raiders. No one figured on Atlanta's victory over Carolina, or Dallas' choke routine against the struggling Jags.
