Glenn got the early jump in the quest for the Surfy as the senior Bro took two out of three splits to open the 2000 Gehlke Bros. season. Both of Glenn's victories were three-pointers, as the Vikings nipped the Bears 30-27, and the Bills held off a last-second field goal try to defeat the Titans 16-13 in the Sunday night game. Sean escaped what could have been a disastrous weekend thanks to the rejuvenated Eagles, who crushed the Cowboys on Da Boys' home turf to the tune of 41-14. Glenn has yet another reason to hate Dallas!
Overall it was a good week of prognostication, with Glenn going 11-4, Sean finishing at 10-5 and Benji going almost even at 7-8. We all correctly guessed the wins of Baltimore, Washington, Jacksonville, Tampa Bay and Oakland. But losses by New Orleans and Green Bay caught us all off guard. Benji was the only one to correctly foresee Miami's thrashing of Seattle.
